    One table per signal source. Funding rounds, hiring spikes, tech-stack changes, exec moves — each table polls its source on a schedule and writes new events into a central 'triggered accounts' table.

    ICP scoring columns
    Each triggered account scored against your ICP across firmographic, technographic, and intent dimensions. Score determines tier (1, 2, 3) which determines treatment level.

    Enrichment waterfalls
    Per-tier enrichment depth. Tier-1 accounts get Apollo + Hunter + ZoomInfo + manual research; tier-3 gets Apollo only. Waterfall logic visible and editable in Clay.

    Enriched + scored accounts pushed via Clay webhooks into your sending platform (Smartlead, Instantly, etc.) with all relevant context attached.
EXAMPLE WORKFLOW

From a Crunchbase event to a booked meeting in 8 days.

Day 0: Crunchbase publishes a Series A announcement for an account in your TAM. Day 1: Clay polling captures the event, writes to your 'Triggered Accounts' table, runs ICP scoring (this account scores 87/100, tier-1). Day 2: Tier-1 enrichment runs — multi-provider email waterfall, exec-level enrichment, AI research column generates an account-specific intro line. Day 3: Account pushed via webhook into Smartlead with the full context attached.

Day 4-7: First and second touches send. Day 8: Prospect replies positively. Meeting booked into AE calendar with the originating Crunchbase event + the AI research column attached as briefing notes.

    Who owns the integration if our engagement ends?
    The integration lives in your Clay workspace. If we offboard, the connection stays — you can pause or disconnect from your end at any time.
