We're Troy and Nick — co-founders who've been building things together since selling t-shirts out of our college dorm room. After a decade in B2B sales across multiple companies, we started BuzzLead in 2022 to solve a problem we kept seeing: great service businesses stuck waiting for their next referral.

In 2022, we bought a $50 course on cold email. The first few months were rough — low response rates, deliverability disasters, the whole mess. But we kept iterating.

We joined mastermind groups, tested everything, and slowly figured out what actually works: the right infrastructure, the right targeting, the right messaging. Not theory — systems we built through thousands of campaigns.

Troy's been in B2B sales for over a decade, but he's never been the "hit your quota and go home" type. He's the guy reverse-engineering why something worked, building systems around it, and finding ways to do it 10x better.

Before BuzzLead, Troy was on the sales team at Flock Safety during their hypergrowth phase — nearly 5x valuation in two years. That environment taught him what scaling really looks like and what breaks when you try to do it wrong.

He's obsessed with the technical side of cold email that most agencies ignore: deliverability infrastructure, inbox placement, the unsexy stuff that actually determines whether your emails get read. That obsession became BuzzLead's competitive edge.

Nick Konstantinidis — Co-Founder, Data & Operations

Nick and Troy have been building things together since high school — starting with a t-shirt business they ran out of their college dorm. Different company names over the years, same partnership.

After college, Nick built his career at OpenWater — first selling virtual conference software during COVID, then transitioning to their application review platform. He stayed through the acquisition period, navigating the complexity that comes with major company transitions.

During that time, he and Troy started BuzzLead on the side — both still working W-2 jobs while building the agency nights and weekends until it was ready to go full-time.

At BuzzLead, Nick owns data and list building operations. He's the reason targeting is precise, lists are clean, and campaigns hit the right people. While Troy's refining the infrastructure and closing deals, Nick's making sure the foundation is solid.
